Drumming and Nasheed 101
The course is an intensive weekend session that will explore the basics of drumming and singing nasheeds in English and Arabic. This is a course that's great for beginners and anyone interested in learning more about different drumming styles and traditions in relation to devotional singing.
A course pack with the nasheed lyrics and rhythms will be provided for each student.
Drumming and Nasheed Intermediate
We are really excited to announce a special one-off in-person class at Rumi’s Cave for our current, old and returning students. An opportunity to experience drumming and singing together INPERSON and would like to continue practicing and building confidence with the rhythms and beats.
We have intentionally created this gathering as an opportunity to learn, practice, and grow together as a community.
For the first time, we will also be offering a children’s session, giving all the young students who have taken classes with us over the years the chance to experience the joy of singing and drumming together in person.
